From the moment Avice and Chris reached out—just three days after their engagement in September 2023—their vision was clear: a romantic, refined, and unforgettable destination wedding set amidst the grandeur of Ireland’s historic estates. With dreams of saying “I do” in a majestic castle or manor house, they entrusted us with curating a weekend that would be both timeless and deeply personal.

Though Avice grew up in Ireland, she now calls New York home, making this a transatlantic planning journey. Fortunately, the couple was able to visit Ireland and explore its most exquisite venues, ultimately falling in love with the elegance and heritage of Carton House, a luxury estate that perfectly matched their aesthetic and aspirations.

Over the next 18 months, we had the privilege of designing a celebration that reflected their impeccable style, love of vibrant gatherings, and heartfelt appreciation for their guests. Every detail was thoughtfully chosen to create an atmosphere of warmth, sophistication, and joy.

On the wedding day, Avice’s bridesmaids wore individually selected gowns in a soft blue palette, allowing each woman to express her own style while maintaining a cohesive and graceful look. The floral design, led by the renowned Frog Prince, was a masterclass in romantic elegance. Avice’s bouquet—a cascading arrangement of rich ivy and delicate orchids—was both distinctive and timeless. The overall floral palette featured soft whites, ivories, blush pinks, peaches, baby blues, and lush greenery, adding depth and softness to the celebration.

The ceremony at St Coca’s Church in Kilcock was a musical dream, with Bohemian Strings performing a bespoke selection including Spring by Max Richter, Ave Maria, and Just Like Heaven by The Cure—each piece chosen to reflect the couple’s unique love story.

Guests were treated to a decadent sweet treat experience featuring a vintage-inspired, three-tier carrot cake alongside an array of mini chocolate and vanilla cupcakes, all lovingly crafted by Cat at The Cake Cuppery.

As the evening unfolded, Avice and Chris made a stylish outfit change before hitting the dance floor, where The MixTape kept the energy high and the celebration going late into the night.
