Kilkenny is a medieval town whose rich history includes Strongbow building a castle in 1172. What an amazing place to host to kick of the destination wedding of Amanda and Logan. The couple’s greatest hope was that their guests would feel the warmth of a true Irish welcome- where every handshake is heartfelt, every story is shared over a pint, and no one leaves a stranger; and Kilkenny definitely ticks those boxes.
The night before the wedding, guests gathered in the heart of Kilkenny at the famous Keyteler’s Inn pub where the conversation and the pints flowed freely. Local musicians filled the room with the spirited sounds of traditional Irish music that created the perfect space for old friends reunited, new friends made and pints of Guinness shared. It was the perfect prelude to the wedding day: warm, welcoming, and filled with joy.
The wedding day took place at the always elegant Mount Juliet. The manor and the estate’s history dates back to the 1700’s. This now 500 acres estate offers the most idyllic setting for a wedding weekend with so much for guests to enjoy- from the Michelin-starred Lady Helen, to the spa, equestrian center and of course it’s Jack Nicklaus Signature Designed Parkland golf course! A little Irish oasis in the heart of the country.
The ceremony overlooked the stunning countryside, with breathtaking floral creations from Patsie & Co. The floral design centered around lush greenery, with ferns, ivy and fall foliage taking center stage—bringing texture and movement. Ground florals lined the aisle and pillar candles nestled at the base of the masterful arch cast a warm, flickering glow, resulting in an atmosphere that felt organic, romantic, and deeply connected to the Irish countryside.
Post ceremony, guests enjoyed oysters, charcuterie boards and old fashioneds at the manor house. As evening fell, the dinner reception unfolded beneath soft candlelight, each place setting marked by hand‑painted stationery that felt like miniature works of art. One of our favorite moments? The speech by the father of the bride who dropped traditional expectations, and delivered his heartfelt toast…in rap form. His rhythm‑laden speech, equal parts touching and playful, brought the room to life, blending sentiment and surprise in a way no one would forget.
Music was high on Logan’s priority list and he expertly chose The Asgards to play a mix of modern and traditional tunes as guests found their seats for dinner.
The newlyweds capped the wedding weekend off with a BBQ the next day at the Manor House.
Congratulations Amanda and Logan; together you orchestrated a celebration that felt deeply personal, wrapped in the cozy embrace of an Irish autumn. It was an absolute joy to be part of your wedding journey, and I’m certain the love and beauty of your special day will continue to shine throughout your lives together.
