We are so excited to share with you one of our favorites, Gigi and Tyler’s castle wedding at Markree! We worked with Gigi and her mom closely to develop a brief, style and color palette featuring a burst of babies’ breath for the Abbey, and soft pastel tones at the Castle.
Gigi’s dress was a breathtaking creation by Monique LHuillier, and the stunning floral talents are courtesy of Fleur Weddings. We worked closely with the cake designer, Wedding Cakes Mayo, to create a bespoke vintage hand-piped three-tiered masterpiece. The stunning photos are from Awake & Dreaming Photography, and a video by B&G Films.
The traditional mass ceremony took place in the exquisite Ballintubber Abbey. Gigi wanted statement pieces in the church to really bring it to life. Fleur created the most amazing floral arch, aisle meadow arrangements and trailing urns – all incorporating babies’ breath. D-Strings arranged a 6-piece ensemble to fill the Abbey with the most beautiful sounds.
The reception took place in Markree Castle, where we took garden pastels indoors. Gold compote bowls filled with sweet peas, peonies, roses, dahlias, and more adorned the tables. We styled the tables with pastel pink napkins, gold-rimmed charger plates, a sprig of sweet peas, and a personalized cookie. Gigi & Tyler proceeded to do their first dances in the courtyard of Markee, with their loved ones surrounding them with sparklers – the height of romance.
Congratulations Gigi and Tyler! You were both so wonderful to work with and, for sure, your life will be even more beautiful than your wedding day!
