Welcome To The NEW Waterlily Weddings!

Wishes for love and all things beautiful this glorious Valentine’s Day!

We’ve been busy behind the scenes here at Waterlily Weddings planning dream destination weddings in Ireland, working on some amazing styling projects we’re excited to share with you later this year, and giving Waterlily Weddings a fresh look!

Website

We’re so excited to share with your our brand new website! Faster access, easier to read, and more streamlined to help with all of your planning needs, our new website is designed to work both on PC and mobile so you can keep in the loop throughout your wedding planning process. And don’t forget to check back to see your amazing day featured on our blog!

We view planning your wedding as a partnership: you bring the vision and we help you execute your dream wedding day.  So we wanted you to get to know us a bit better too. Check out our new ABOUT US page and make sure to scroll down to our individual pages for fun info about the Waterlily Wedding team!

We’ve added some new GALLERIES to our site to give you all a small look into what we can do. From Lauren and Jason who were the first ever couple to get married on Haggs Head to more recent gorgeous weddings and elopements, check back often to see what we post.  More and more of our clients are looking to really personalize their wedding day. Unique details on the bridal bouquet, personalized notes welcoming their guests to their wedding, going for that “wow” factor in wedding decor like hanging garlands and gorgeous bouquets are just some of the amazing details we’ll be sharing with you this year!

A new feature we’ve added that’s a must-see is our new VIDEO section!  We love this feature especially because drone shots in particular can really give you all a great insight into how Ireland looks in “real time” — the sights, sounds, and emotion of the day playing like movie.  Grab a tissue and settle in for some truly romantic weddings we’ve had the pleasure to help plan over the years. We hope this will inspire more clients to incorporate film into their wedding day, and we’re excited to keep updating our video library as it happens!

One of our newer services is our DESIGN and STYLE department. Make sure to check back in the coming months for some real weddings we’ve had the pleasure to help style and an incredible style shoot that’s coming up!

Many of our weddings and elopements have been featured in other publications. We’re proud of our work and hope you’ll visit to take a look. Check out our PRESS section for the latest real wedding and style shoots that have been picked up by other publications including Martha Stewart Weddings, 100 Layer Cake, Wedding Sparrow, and much more!

2018 will see a return to sharing our incredible real weddings and elopements on the BLOG. But something we’ll be also including this year are more advice on wedding planning, tips on traveling and navigating through Ireland, and travel/things to do/see while there! Part of the fun of hosting a destination wedding is being able to explore the area yourselves and with your guests; we’ll be tailoring some posts specifically to that that we hope you’ll share with your friends and family too!

The New Logo

With over twelve years experience planning weddings in Ireland, it was time for our logo to reflect the experience, success, and style we’ve cultivated over the years. The escutcheon (aka “shield”) references the history and power of Ireland. The pink waterlilies symbolize our name, and the original shamrock that stood nobly as Waterlily’s emblem for so long took a new, delicate floral form.  We also wanted to bring in some Irish wildflowers — many people who visit Ireland during the spring and summer months are surprised to find the “emerald isle” ablaze with carpets of pink, purple, yellow, white, and green wildflowers all over the island! And the sheep? Well, it’s hard not to fall in love with the fluffy docile sheep dotting the green landscape all over Ireland. Our sheep stands tall and proud, a symbol of spring and starting new — just like a marriage.
